Our design philosophy

Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people with disabilities in a way that maintains dignity and independence. We achieve integration by removing and  preventing barriers to accessibility, building ramps and special elevators in a timely manner.

Sustainability

We work closely with architects, designers and suppliers to maximize sustainability: we create buildings to last, using materials and techniques resilient to the specific conditions and microclimate of their surrounding area. We source materials responsibly, and whenever possible, locally.

Efficiency

We achieve passive energy efficiency, by designing buildings that provide natural cooling in the summer and heating in the winter, through their orientation, openings and choice of materials. In a seaside location like Porto Rafti, it is possible to have very comfortable indoor conditions throughout the year without expending in energy - through double glazed windows, insulating materials and careful orientation of the buildings. We also offer bespoke solutions, including underfloor heating & cooling, heat pumps, solar water heating, greywater recycling and solar panels.
